A warm welcome to this website for the parish of St Clare and St Hugh, Liverpool, which has served the Catholic community in this suburb, south of the city centre, since 1890. Though the area has changed significantly in the intervening years, the mission of the parish essentially remains the same - to fulfil the command of Jesus Christ: “Go into all the world and proclaim the good news.” (Mark 16:15) Whether you are here to find out about the parish, to discover something of its history or simply have an interest in the architecture of the church, we hope that you will find the information that you are looking for.
Collected:£8,000
